Air Texas Volleyball (ATV) Serving Parker, Hood, Wise, Summerville, Erath, Palo Pinto, and Tarrant Counties
Club was founded on the principle of developing the individual athlete with positive competition. In addition, ATV provides the opportunity for junior girls to play volleyball at the highest level of competition while enjoying all the benefits competitive volleyball provides.
ATV is a competitive volleyball program dedicated to developing junior athletes for competition in local, regional and national tournaments. Our Club's goals are to teach life skills through volleyball, to develop self- esteem, sportsmanship, competitiveness, and to create lasting friendships within our ATV family.
ATV provides a unique opportunity to build upon character, further develop leaders to work individually and collectively as a team focused on complete success as a whole. During this development we hope that everyone learns to appreciate this wonderful game and be able to continue to the next level of competition, whether college bound, professionally or personally.
We are open to girls from 4th grade through 12th grades. We are able to be extremely competitive with costs. Our mission is to develop skilled, strong, successful athletes. We plan to be competitive, while building well rounded athletes and have fun doing it.
Volleyball is a fast growing sport in the United States and is becoming more popular by the day. Many people do not realize that there are many colleges in all divisions that offer scholarships in volleyball. We plan to contribute to these schools by training athletes in the techniques and fundamentals of the sport.
At ATV we know there is much more to building athletes than just game playing. While one priority is to coach and improve the skills of our athletes though skill training, conditioning and game playing, we are dedicated to building holistic athletes through strengthening the physical, the mental, and the emotional aspects of their game. Our athletes also experience the value of communication, teamwork, patience, and respect for others.
We are committed to provide a safe, challenging, and uplifting atmosphere so that each individual may have an opportunity to be successful on the court and off. Loyalty, hard work and perseverance, sportsmanship, and the quest for team and individual development, achievement, and triumph: these are the pillars of our organization and guide our players and coaches to greatness and fulfilment.
Our Director, Troy Hickey, has 26 years of success on the court and has an exemplary reputation within the volleyball community.
